Quiet Time with God

"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth". Psalm 145:18

How can we manage our time? Too often we are frustrated when we plot our plan into our calendar for the day but something puffs up and is not according to our plan, like a family lunch or dinner, an invitation from a friend, or as we browse through our Facebook account, our time to accomplish things are already consumed.

I want to be productive each day by updating my skills, to learn, to relate to people closer to us, like our spouse, children, but most of all our relationship with our LORD GOD by spending quality time with HIM during our quiet times every morning before we start our day. It's frustrating when the day starts when things are not done according to what we expect. That's the reason why we need to exert effort to rise-up early to pray and to meditate upon the Word of God so that the rest of the day will not be a surprise.

Surprisingly when I do this discipline each day our LORD by His grace arrange my schedule as if it works out altogether for good. It's like coincidental? It is if you are agnostic or in doubt, but for me, it's working fine. Try to set aside time to GOD and He will honor your heart as you commit the rest of the day into His sovereignty, things will work out together for good including your personal, relational, and business-related concerns.

Our delight should be to meet the LORD each day in prayer and meditating upon His Word and we leave the rest of the day to HIM. When we have this kind of attitude in our hearts, the rest of the matter throughout the day would be easy. It is my prayer that we may be able to develop the character to set aside time for our LORD, GOD before the day starts, so that we may not be able to be upset when we struggle with our day-in and day-out of planned schedules in our calendar but to lift up all our plans and schedules to our LORD, GOD. Our LORD, GOD is sovereign to bless our hearts as we are in tune in His presence.
